My friends and I recently had such a Gleeful Travel experience at Palawan – The City of The Living God. As we all know, Puerto Princesa Palawan is the home to the famous Underground River, one of the new seven wonders of the world!

When we booked our flight, we forgot that July is part of the rainy season in the Philippines. The intermittent rain made the planning of our itinerary difficult, as we had to make sure the activities were still doable even with heavy rain.

And you bet it rained really hard while we were there! I’m still happy though, because we were able to do 90% of our planned activities and so much more! Here is our detailed itinerary and expenses:

Puero Princesa Palawan

Day 1

12 nn – Arrival

12:15 pm- Pick up from airport by our Honda Bay Tour Agency

12:15 – 1:00 pm – Land Travel from Airport to Honda Bay Island Hopping Wharf.

Honda Bay Tours usually start at 7:00 am. We contacted so many travel agencies but we were denied because they said it was impossible to do island hopping if we start at 1:00 pm. Fortunately, we stumbled on MagPalawan Tours and they did a special arrangement for us!

Honda Bay Tour: P1300/person (Includes airport transfer, registration fees, environmental fees, & lunch)

Along the way, we stopped at a snorkeling shop to rent some gears! You will TRULY need a pair of shoes, otherwise you will go home with a bloody foot! The islands are THAT ‘rocky’!

Shoes: P150/person

[OPTIONAL] Snorkeling Gear: P150/person (I didn’t get this cause I brought my own goggles!)
